(the Boonie Dog)
Boonie dogs of Guam are feral dogs
that live in the jungle. Historians have traced boonie dogs to be
descendants of WWII war dogs!
The funny and cool thing about these kind
of dogs is no two look exactly alike. They come in all shapes, colors,
sizes, and coat types!
Abby looks like a German shepherd with dachshund legs!
When she
joined our family she was about 5 1/2 wks old and was the size of an 8wk
old Pom puppy.
She is one of the smartest, loyalist, hardiest, most
thankful dog we've ever had!
She is also, a major Diva- if its wet,
windy or any kind of weather except sunny she prefers NOT to go outside.
So silly, too!
