*******SPECIAL NOTICE*******

05/07/2013 -  WOW didn't we take a leap into summer.  I can't believe that it is May already.  Currently we have a couple of very special girls in house.  Tilly is a super sweet girl who has had some scary changes in her past.  She is super shy and now after almost a week we are beginning to see her coming around.  Casey is another girl who is going to need some very special care.  It appears that she is blind in one eye.  She is coming around but it is going slow and easy.  Both are looking for very special patient homes.

We are delighted to now be a Pet Partner with Pet Smart now as well as Pet Co.  Our first PetSmart was a huge success with several placements stemming from applications at that event.  We will be at PetCo on TV Highway in Hillsboro on Saturday from 12 to 4.  Stop by and visit.

Your donations are what allows us to continue rescuing these little guys and we are working hard to extend the scope of our efforts all the time.  In today's economical environment that can be very difficult, but it is even more important.  We are totally donation funded so these continuing efforts needs your assistance.  No donation is to small and every penny will be put to the best use possible.

We do our best to keep our placement fees low.  The pricing you will find very depending on the age, health and Vet care involved with the rescue.  We attempt to recover our Vet funds so as to pass them on to the next needy fur-baby.  Our minimum placement fee is $75, the maximum we will charge will be $350, even when the vet bill is in the thousands, we will never ask more than $350.  We are a young organization with a limited donor base and no government funding, we rely on adoption fees to support our mission.  All pets are Spay/Neutered, teeth cleanliness in good shape, current on vaccines, and micro chipped before leaving our care.  Additional donations are greatly appreciated.
We are a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Corporation so your donation is tax deductible.

Donate to the rescue of your choice and we will reduce their placement fee by that donation.

Mouse is an OMG cute little guy.  He is super sweet and silly and is definitely ready for some great training.  Mouse made himself at home within minutes of arriving.  I just love his silly little ears and his long slinky body.  We are working to assess his level of house training.  He has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations.

-Buddy-

Breed:  Shih Tzu Mix
Gender: Male

Age:  Approximately 2 years

Buddy is very sweet and outgoing.  He does need structure and guidance as he wants to rule the roost.  I can't wait to see what his coat looks like when it comes back.  Right now he is sporting the crew cut look.  He came to us from a California Shelter where he came in as an owner surrender.   Buddy has been neutered, tested heartworm negative and is current on his vaccinations.

-Dustin-

Dustin is a silly little guy super sweet and loves to hang out with his people.  He came from a California Shelter where he was part of a confiscation case.  Dustin is quite the character.  I think I see Corgie there - the shelter thought American Eskimo - other guesses???  Pretty cute though and completely engaging.  Dustin has been neutered, heartworm test negative and is all current on his vaccinations.

Scruffy is a cool little guy.  Super sweet and silly he is going to make someone a great cuddler.  Scruffy loves anyone who will love on him.  He have not yet found a lap where he hasn't tried to make it his own.  He totally has the "adopt me" attitude.  Scruffy came to us from a California Shelter where he was found as a stray.  He has been neutered, tested heartworm negative and is current on his vaccinations.  He is doing great in the kennel and we having great luck with the house training.

-Nikki-
**Special Needs**
Arrived 04/28/2013
Breed: Pomeranian
Gender: Female

Age:  14 years Senior
Weight
: 10 pounds

Single redheaded female looking for a mature companion where we can spend the rest of our lives just hanging out.

Nikki is a super sweet girl who just wants to hang out near her people.  She is active and engaging.  She has some of the typical senior health concerns; a bit of arthritis in her hips, hearing loss, and needs to be monitored for diabetes. At this point she is not on any medications for the diabetes as we are waiting to see if new new diet and some exercise changes the bloodwork results.

-Sweetie-
Arrived 05/14/2013
Breed: Chihuahua / Pomeranian
Gender: Female

Age:  Approximately 5 years
Weight
: 9 pounds

Sweetie Pie was an owner surrender to Clackamas County Shelter on 05/02/2013.  The surrender indicated she is a Pomeranian Chihuahua mix.  Mostly I see the Chihuahua.  When I met her, she was horribly afraid with all the noises at the shelter.  Sweetie is a love, she is leash trained, loves to go for a walk, but mostly loves to curl up in a lap.  We will be working to identify her house training.  She has had a recent litter of puppies, but has now been spay and is current on her vaccinations.

-Pongo-
Arrived 05/14/2013
Breed: Pomeranian - Orange
Gender: Male

Age:  Approximately 2 years
Weight
: 10 pounds

Pongo is a great name for this little guy, he is so enthusiastic and happy.  He has some training knows sit and off for sure :)  Pongo would be a great dog for a teen looking to train an Obedience/Agility dog.  He loves to run and play - is at a prime age and maturity for learning all about fetch.  Pongo is neutered and current on his vaccinations.  Pongo came to us from Clackamas County Shelter where he was found as a stray, arriving there on 04/10/13.

-Mickey-
Arrived 05/18/2013
Breed: Pomeranian Mix - Black
Gender: Male

Age:  Approximately 2 to 3 years
Weight
: 7 pounds

Single Black Male looking for love and a permanent relationship.  Enjoys long walks and lots of cuddles.

Mickey is adorable.  He is engaged and fun loving.  Mickey came from a California shelter and is very glad to have been sprung from jail.  He is leash trained and we are thinking he has at least some house training as he is going as soon as we have him outside.  Mickey has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations.

The piddlin' end.   I couldn't resist LOL.

-Nikko-
Arrived 05/18/2013
Breed: Pomeranian / Chihuahua  - Cream Sable Parti

Oh My - I just want to squeeze Nikko.  He is such an adorable love of a boy.  Sweet and cuddly for sure.  Nikko came to us from a Carlifornia shelter.  He lost some teeth with his cleaning, but has plenty still for eating.  Nikko has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations.

Compassion for animals is intimately connected with goodness of character; and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man.
